No Trash or Yard Waste Collection in Leesburg on 4th of July

Leesburg, VA (June 22, 2017) – There will be no trash, recycling or yard waste collection in the Town of Leesburg on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

Residents in the Northeast and Northwest Quadrants will not have trash or yard waste collection on Tuesday, July 4. Trash and yard waste will be collected in the Northeast and Northwest Quadrants on the next regular collection day, Friday, July 7, 2017.

There will be no trash collection for curbside commercial customers on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Curbside commercial customers will receive trash and recycling collection on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. The Town requests that customers do not place trash or recycling out for collection before 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

There are no changes to trash and yard waste collection schedules for residents in the Southeast and Southwest Quadrants or to the bulk item collection schedule. Requests for bulk item collection must be received by noon on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. Email trash@leesburgva.gov to request bulk item collection.

The Leesburg Town Offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, July 3 and 4, 2017, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
